CELEBRATING THE FIFTEENTH SEASON
of the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival
Fifteen years of extraordinary guest conductors, fabulous performances, and a roster of 120+ participating choirs has garnered the praise of singers, their conductors and tour chaperones who call it “life-changing” and “the most amazing week of my life so far.”
PICCFEST 2012 guest conductor Bob Chilcott returns for his third appearance to lead the combined Festival Chorus and individual workshops with each choir. The combination of PICCFEST and the Oregon Bach Festival creates this one-of-a-kind event filled with inspiring rehearsals, at least two performances by each participating choir, performances of the combined Festival Chorus, and a welcoming environment that leaves participants asking, “When can we come back?!”
Located in Oregon’s breathtaking southern Willamette Valley, the festival takes place on and around the beautiful University of Oregon campus and various venues in Eugene, including the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, home of the world-renowned Oregon Bach Festival.
PICCFEST 2012 participating choirs are:
Green Bay Boy Choir (Wisconsin)
Nanaimo Youth Choir (British Columbia)
Northwest Girlchoir (Washington)
